About Us
Founded on July 27, 2021—the
Memorial Day of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam—Agni Nizhalgal Foundation is a youth-led
non-profit organization based in Erode District, Tamil Nadu. Formed by a group
of passionate youngsters below the age of 26, the Foundation works with a shared vision to build a world
driven by humanity, environmental responsibility, and compassion.
Inspired by Dr. Kalam’s
ideals, we strive to create a hunger-free and sustainable society through various initiatives including
environmental awareness programs, food drives, and community service activities. Every project we undertake
aims to spread the message of kindness, unity, and youth empowerment.
The name “Agni Nizhalgal”
(Shadows of Fire) symbolizes young minds carrying forward the flame of change—transforming inspiration into
action.
Together, we believe that even the smallest spark can light
up the world with hope, service, and humanity.
Mission
- To create awareness on environmental conservation, social responsibility, and
humanitarian values among communities.
- To empower young people below the age of 26 to lead initiatives that promote
sustainability, kindness, and public welfare.
- To eradicate hunger through consistent food distribution and support programs
for underprivileged sections.
- To organize campaigns, tree plantations, and awareness drives promoting
cleanliness, eco-balance, and compassion.
- To serve society selflessly, carrying forward the flame of transformation and
integrity envisioned by Dr. Kalam.

Our Impact
Since 2021, the Agni Nizhalgal Foundation has:
- Completed 30+ community projects across Erode.
- Planted over 450 saplings and gifted 950+ plants during special occasions.
- Engaged more than 100 active volunteers from schools and colleges.
